This policy covers this website, cloudfellow.com. It does not cover the IT services we provide to clients under contract — how we handle data on a client's own systems is governed by that client's service agreement, not by this page.

What we collect automatically

Our web host keeps standard server logs, as every web host does. A log entry records your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser's user-agent string. We don't inspect these routinely; they exist for security and troubleshooting, and they are deleted on our host's ordinary schedule.

That's the whole of it. No analytics package, no advertising pixel, no fingerprinting, no session recording, no A/B testing.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

What you give us deliberately

• If you call — we'll have your phone number and whatever you tell us.
• If you email — we'll have your email address and the contents of your message, in our mailbox, like any other email.
• If you book a call — see the next section.

We use that information to answer you and, if you become a client, to provide the service. Nothing else.

Booking a call

Our booking page uses Microsoft Bookings, displayed inside our page but hosted and operated by Microsoft. Anything you type into it — your name, email, phone number, firm name and the note about what's prompting the call — goes to Microsoft and into our Microsoft 365 account. It is covered by Microsoft's privacy statement as well as this one.

We use those details to call you at the time you chose and to send your confirmation and reminder. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Other companies involved

• Our web host stores the site's files and keeps the server logs described above.
• Google Fonts serves the two typefaces this site uses. Your browser requests those font files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We send Google nothing else, and we receive nothing back.
• Microsoft, for the booking page only, as described above.

That is the complete list. No data broker, no advertising network, no customer-tracking platform.

What we never do

We don't sell your information. We don't rent, trade or share it for anyone else's marketing. We don't send marketing email to people who haven't asked for it. If you contact us and decide not to go ahead, that's the end of it — you won't hear from us on a schedule.

How long we keep things

Server logs are kept only as long as our host retains them. Emails and booking records are kept while there's a reason to — an active enquiry, an ongoing client relationship, or a legal or tax obligation. If you'd like us to delete your enquiry, ask and we will.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Email and booking data live in our Microsoft 365 account, which is protected with multi-factor authentication. We'd be in an awkward position selling security otherwise.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email info@cloudfellow.com and a person — the owner, in fact — will deal with it. We don't require a particular form of words and we won't charge you.

You can also browse this site perfectly well with your browser set to block everything. Nothing here needs JavaScript, and nothing breaks without it.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. If we ever add analytics, a contact form, or anything else that collects more than is described here, this page gets updated before that goes live — not afterwards.
